Make Every Contact Count: Volunteer Field Training- How to blockwalk and phonebank

Join DFW Progressives and the Collin County Young Democrats for "Make Every Contact Count", a free volunteer training designed to make you more effective wherever you meet voters, at the doors, on the phone, at community events, or through your own relationships. We’ll break down the fundamentals of effective voter contact and how individual conversations become part of a larger organizing strategy. What we’ll cover: - Making stronger, more meaningful voter contacts - Block walking and Phone banking etiquette. - Community and campaign events - Relational organizing using REACH to follow-up - GOTV and turning conversations into action This isn't just about learning a script. It's about understanding why we make contact, what makes a good conversation, and what happens after that conversation. Whether this is your first campaign or you've knocked knocked a few doors, you'll leave with practical skills you can use to help your favorite candidate or cause. Friday, September 4th at 5:30 PM Training is free and open to everyone. No previous campaign or organizing experience is required. Hosted by Darrel Evans with DFW Progressives, in partnership with the Collin County Young Democrats.
