Phone Bank for Angie Carraway in HD 89

Talking to voters is one of the simplest ways to help Angie’s campaign reach more people across House District 89. Join us online on Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Central for our virtual phone bank! You can call from home, talk with voters about what’s happening in their communities, introduce them to Angie, and make sure they know there’s a teacher and neighbor running to represent them in Austin. Never phone-banked before? That’s completely fine. We’ll spend the first 30 minutes walking new volunteers through everything: how the calling system works, what to say, what to expect, and what to do when you get a question you don’t know how to answer. And yes, calling strangers can feel a little awkward at first. Most people get the hang of it pretty quickly. You’re not there to give a speech. You’re there to have a conversation. Please join from a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection. A quiet place to talk and a pair of headphones will make things easier. We’ll send the Zoom link after you RSVP. We’ll get you trained, get you comfortable, and get you talking to your neighbors!
